MY SENSE OF PLACE

Finally wrapping up this blog with my sense of place and what it now means to me after these past few months. Sense of place is how you feel in your town, home or location. Its what stands out and makes the town unique that sense of place comes in. The town of Salem, the place where I have spent almost all of my time this past semester. I have learned so many new things about the world and how I view it in this class than I have my whole life. I see Salem as a completely new wonderful place nothing like my hometown in the south shore. There was never any traffic, big buildings or even an ocean. It was just a town that had a mall and some restaurants. Thats all. Now comparing it to Salem is crazy. Salem has everything and anything you need all wrapped up into a small city.

This is a picture of one of my favorite adventures I had in Salem at the farmers market! I got a free pumpkin from Heavens Harvest Farm!
Another one of my favorite adventures I had was with my Triad group. We originally planned on going to the wax museum but unfortunatley it was closed so we went to the witch museum instead. I made two great friends during this adventure and I also learned so many new things about the witch trials.

My sense of place in SSU is my dorm room, the library and the bridge. It all makes me feel so happy and welcomed, it really is like my second home. I feel safe and happy whenever I am here and id honestly rather be here than in Hanover!

This pic was taken at the library with two of my great friends. We were studying in a place that I had just found that same day while we toured the library during class! Its a great spot.

Finally, to conclude on my sense of place, I am happy. I am happy with this town and all it offers and this class really brought out my inner self and how I feel about my sense of place in Salem. I love being here and our class really made me view everything so differently.
